We are often asked if we provide a region mailing list to groups. The answer is not an easy yes or no. The data collected through the registration system, Webpoint, is not only data we have access to, but data that goes directly to USA Volleyball. If a member opts in to be contacted by third parties, USA Volleyball can provide your information to companies they feel would be of interest. NTR will occasionally provide a member list (which does not include sensitive information such as DOB, parent names, etc.) to volleyball specific groups in the area. One of the services we provide to junior clubs in the area is access to a mailing list that includes address and email. In order to receive this information, clubs must make the request in writing through a document we provide. The document states they acknowledge the data is for their use only. This list includes ONLY those who have agreed to be contacted by third parties.
In Webpoint, when a member (or registers), the third page of the registration process shows the total dollar amount owed, parent contact info, followed by a section for Communications. During this registration process, the member can opt out of different settings.
After the registration process is complete, a member can change their settings by logging in to their Webpoint account. Upon doing so, the member will select the “My Information” tab from the left menu. The next page will show member data, with tabs at the top. The Communication tab will take the member to his/her settings. These settings can be updated at any time.
