The North Texas Region offers two weekends for regional play. The McChesney Regional Championship is typically held the last weekend of April. Teams that participate in this event are not eligible to receive a regional bid to the Girls Junior Nationals*. The following weekend, typically the first weekend of May, the Regional Bid Championship is held. From this qualifying event, ranking teams can earn a bid towards USAV’s Girls Junior National Championships.

*For the 2013 Region Bid Tournament, teams in the Under 13 age division who earn a bid in the USA division at a national qualifier will be able to participate. Rationale: Regions will be responsible for offering the National bid, which is currently the highest bid level possible for 13s and cannot be earned through a qualifier.
